THE gUEST GUIDE
Just to be clear, this is a (very long, overdue) party with our nearest and dearest. But, for my fellow type A personalities out there, here’s some extra information to help you feel prepared.
cHILDREN AT THE WEDDING
Due to the logistics and nature of our venue, we understand that guests may need to bring their children if necessary.
However, we would like everyone to understand that this is not a child-focused or child friendly wedding.
Where possible, we encourage guests to make alternative arrangements for their children so that you can fully relax and enjoy the celebration.
For those who do need to bring their children, we respectfully ask that they remain under your supervision at all times. If you child becomes upset, distressed or disruptive during the ceremony or reception, we ask that you promptly remove them from the area until they have settled, out of respect for the proceedings and our other guests.
If you do need to bring your children, please let us know so that we can make necessary arrangements.
We greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation. We cannot wait to party with everyone all night long!

AIRLIE AND SURROUNDING AREAS HAVE A SMALL RANGE OF CAFES, RESTAURANTS, FOOD SHOPS, BOTTLES SHOPS AND PHARMACIES. THERE’S ALSO A HANDFUL OF CLOTHING AND BOUTIQUE STORES AVAILABLE.
While there is no strict dress code, we would love our guests to embrace a colourful romantic vibe (I have no idea if that’s what it’s called). Think vibrant coastal elegance meets european summer glamour.
We should also make it clear that no one is to wear white or white adjacent colours. (Better safe than sorry).
Respectfully, we also ask that flannies, runners, caps and other overly casual attire isn’t worn on the big day. For this one day of the year, please opt for something polished, celebratory and wedding appropriate.
Please also don’t be fooled. The temperatures in Airlie can get quite cool, especially around the month of August. Please bring a jacket or something warmer for the evening.

FOR THE LADIES
In regards to footwear, if you are wearing heels, please keep in mind that the majority of the venue will be grass. Stiletto heels are most likely not the safest choice. Thicker block heels would be completely fine.
